I turn complex ideas into learning that feels clear, meaningful, and human.
From the first conversation to the final deployment, I guide learning projects with structure, imagination, and care, holding the client’s vision, the learner’s needs, and the smallest detail with equal attention.
A designer of understanding.
I work at the intersection of organisation and creativity, intellect and service, strategy and care. For me, learning design is the craft of taking complex, technical, or unstructured ideas and shaping them into experiences that create genuine understanding.
I lead projects from early ideas into thoughtful, impactful learning journeys: managing timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholders while keeping the learner at the centre of every decision. My background reaches across instructional design, content strategy, and marketing, and I am currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Instructional Design.
At heart, this is the work I want to do: to stand between knowledge and understanding, and to help people access ideas that can change how they think, work, and live.
— Alexandra
Good learning design is an act of care.
Every project is different, but my way of working is guided by a few principles I return to again and again. They shape how I lead teams, listen to clients, and design for the people who will ultimately learn.
Acceptance
Projects involve change, complexity, and feedback. I accept what is outside my control while taking full responsibility for what is within it: meeting challenges with grace and adaptability.
Awareness
I stay attuned to the needs of learners, clients, and the team (and to scope, energy, and risk) so that nothing important is missed.
Helping others
I help clients communicate what they know, learners access it with confidence, and teams work together more effectively.
Intellect
I bring curiosity and rigour to making sense of complex ideas, solving problems, and designing journeys with depth and imagination.
Productivity
I treat productivity as purposeful progress: structure, planning, and focused action that turn ideas into reality.
Clarity, care, and excellence. In that order, every time.
To stand between knowledge and understanding, between strategy and creativity, between people and possibility. My work, in a single sentence
